Patient Advocate
Our patient advocates serve as a conduit for communication between the Veteran and the VA health care system. We give you and your family the security of knowing someone is available to focus on your individual concerns and rights as a patient. We will work directly with all facilities and departments on your behalf and can address your questions, problems or special needs quicker.
If you, or a Veteran you care for, have not been able to resolve important issues related to VA through other means of communications, please contact one of our highly-skilled patient advocates who will be eager to help you with your concern in a timely manner. Please select the VISN 4 location below where you receive your health care:
Altoona Butler Coatesville Erie Lebanon Philadelphia Pittsburgh Wilkes-Barre Wilmington
If you live outside of the VISN 4 service area, use the find VA locations tool to locate your local VA medical center.
Alternatively, you may contact any facility directly through e-mail using the VA National Inquiry Routing & Information System (IRIS).
In addition, our transition patient advocates work specifically with OEF/OIF/OND Veterans to make sure that they understand their benefits and rights and get the health care services that they have earned and deserve. Contact the transition patient advocate for your nearest VA facility.
