Site Visit - Wilmington VA Medical Center

On March 2, U.S. Sen. Tom Carper hosted Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert A. McDonald in Delaware for his annual Veterans' summit.

McDonald, who was also joined by U.S. Sen. Chris Coons, U.S. Congressman John Carney, Wilmington VA Medical Center Director Robin Aube-Warren, VISN 4 Interim Network Director Carla Sivek, and Philadelphia VA Regional Office Director Diana Rubens, began the day touring the medical center, meeting with leadership from state Veterans' organizations, and conducting an employee town hall.

Following the VA Medical Center visit, Secretary McDonald went to the University of Delaware to talk about the VA to nursing students.
